Who Am I?

My name is Keri Aquart. I am a certified sugaring practitioner as well as a Massage Therapist. I specialize in Women’s Brazilians and offer a full menu of additional services to meet your needs.

What is Body Sugaring?

Body Sugaring is the safest and most natural method used to extract unwanted hair. Body Sugar is never applied hot it is applied warm and acclimates to the body’s own temperature which allows for a much less painful experience for hair extraction.

How Does It Work?

All Body sugaring services are done strictly by hand (no strips). Sugar paste is moulded onto the skin against the natural direction of hair growth, resulting in less breakage of hair at the follicle and fewer ingrown hairs. When hair is extracted against the direction of growth it can deform the follicle and create more ingrown hairs.

I had an amazing experience at The Sugar Shack Body Sugaring & Beauty Bar! It was my first time trying sugaring, and I did my whole face and neck. I have very sensitive, acne-prone skin, and I was so happy that I didn’t have any bad reactions at all. Nicole was absolutely lovely — super gentle, friendly, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend! 💖

1st time sugar girl here and absolutely loved my visit with Keri. Inside and out she was a beautiful person to meet and spend time with while, executing the service with ease, professionalism and skill! Any person would be lucky to have their services done by Keri (and she is the owner too, big bonus). I hear the other staff members also have great skills and love what they do (2nd big bonus)!

I have been seeing Keri for many years (probably 10 now) and she has just opened a new little spot in Evanston NW Calgary! If you are located nearby, she has a cozy room in her home. Super comfortable and easy to get to for all your sugaring needs. 10/10 recommend!

I’ve been sugaring consistently for 6 years now and Nicole was one of the best aestheticians I’ve been to. I went in for my appointment whilst dealing with a huge insecurity and Nicole immediately made me feel at ease, comfortable, and like a valued client. Personally, she was so kind, thoughtful, and reassuring. Professionally, she was incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, and proficient. The actual salon itself was very chic, clean, and welcoming. I had a 10/10 experience, so I’ll definitely be back.

Chelsie was amazing—so friendly and welcoming, I felt like we’d known each other for years. The service was quick (which is a must for Brazilians!) and super professional. The team was accommodating when I called to move my appointment earlier, and they made it happen with no hassle. Overall, such a great experience with fantastic pricing and genuinely kind people.
